All of the residents of this unique township have the right to know what decisions their elected officials are making on their behalf. Joyfield Residents for Accountable Government have taken it upon themselves to established this blog. It will give residents who choose to use technology, a location to find information about township business, until the Joyfield Township Government develops a website of their own.

  1. Why are some of the meetings labeled as dictation and written out differently than minutes??

    1. The township will not provide previous meeting minutes to the public for free. In order to avoid fees, some of the meetings have been dictated from audio recordings taking by residents. Joyfield township is the only township in the county, that does not provide previous meeting minutes free to the public. Therefore, anyone attending a meeting for the first time may not be able to follow along with township business. JRAG thinks that is bad business, bad communication and shows a lack of cooperation between the board and the residents they serve.
